Atis Group Continues its Growth in the Maritimes
Montreal, October 2nd, 2017 – Today, Atis Group (Atis) announced a significant investment in Alweather, a retail network that has been firmly established in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island for more than forty years.
With a total of six stores across Nova Scotia and in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Alweather has positioned itself favourably in the maritime provinces with its comprehensive product line of doors, windows, garage doors and customized exterior siding. Recognized throughout the years for the quality of its energy-efficient products and for its personalized service adapted to all needs, Alweather has become an essential figure in the residential and commercial renovation market of the Atlantic provinces.
"This important Atis Group investment is the result of a lengthy thought-process and a relationship built on trust over several years with Robert Doyon and his team. We are confident that our values based on the total quality of our products and services will be carried on by our partners who share our willingness to accompany our clients throughout their entire projects. Like the Atis Group, we are proud to see our clients - and now their children - entrust us with new projects year after year. The strength of Atis Group will allow us to offer a new and broader range of products and services and continue to promote ‘Alweather’ for enhancing the environments of our customers,” said Brian MacPhee, President and owner of Alweather.
Robert Doyon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Atis Group, declared:
"This fifth acquisition by Atis Group over the past sixteen months and major market penetration in the Maritimes raises the Group's number of corporate stores to thirty across Canada, where we also have a strong network of more than twelve hundred retail distributors. This new alliance with one of the leading players in window and door sales in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island is in keeping with our current network of retailers. The philosophy of Atis Group is based on the respectful integration of the culture of our acquired retail outlets upon the retirement of their founders. They can count on a partner who understands and respects their local reality and provides assurance of business longevity by letting them benefit from the strength of our network. Thanks to the wide variety of Atis products manufactured across Canada, we will be able to supply Alweather with a line of exclusive products that will meet all of our customers' needs in the residential and commercial renovation markets.
We are very pleased to be part of this partnership with Alweather and warmly welcome Brian MacPhee and his team of representatives, installers and employees to the Atis family. "
