Team Supervisor, Corporate IT Development

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

The corporate IT development team supervisor works closely with the IT and operations teams.  He is responsible to develop applications and interfaces within the technological ecosystem.  The supervisor manages internal resources as well as our partners to deliver quality solutions within the appropriate time to our users. The supervisor oversees a multi-site team composed of 6 developers and analysts, located in Atis divisions in Canada.                              

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement product-oriented development processes
  • Document IT development processes
  • Promote efficient communication between the development team and the business
  • Establish meaningful KPI of the development team to be able to measure the efficiency of the team
  • Promote development best practices and coaches the team to apply them
  • Optimize IT cost structure by designing appropriate solutions
  • Implement and support development tools
  • Participate actively to improve IT processes and the technological ecosystem

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in computer science (DEC/BAC) or equivalent work experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience managing development and functional team
  • Capacity to build applications UML diagram
  • Knowledge of .NET, Python, SQL, Java programming languages
  • Familiar with BPMN standard
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio and Azure
  • Ability to manage an Agile team
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft an asset
  • Bilingual (French, English)
  • Available to travel occasionally
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a car for travel
